How to remove Facebook access, a client's data, or your whole account. Every option is free.

ARemove Facebook access#

  1. Sign in to Metalytics and open Settings → Connected Accounts.
  2. Click Disconnect. The Facebook access token is deleted from our servers right away, and Metalytics can no longer pull Meta data.

Ad data already pulled stays until you delete the client (B) or your account (C).

BDelete one client's data#

Delete the client from the client list in Performance Log. All ad data, optimization notes and to-dos for that client are permanently deleted.

CDelete your whole account and data#

  1. Email aditya@metalytics.app from your account's email address with the subject "Delete my Metalytics account".
  2. We confirm the request is yours, then delete the account and all its data (Facebook connection, clients, ad data, notes, tasks, report settings) within 3 × 24 hours.
  3. You get a confirmation reply by email.

DIf you remove Metalytics from Facebook#

On Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, select Metalytics, then Remove. Our access token stops working. To delete the data already stored in Metalytics, follow step C.

What is kept after deletion#

  • Security activity log entries (for example "account deleted") are kept for 12 months, then deleted automatically.
  • Feedback you sent is kept without a link to your account.
  • Database backups, if any, expire within 30 days.
